A favorite subscriber privilege. The first exchange is free and a small fee applies for all subsequent exchanges. All exchanges must be made at least 48 hours prior to your new show date.

SEATING
All seats for all shows are general admission in the Humanities Center Theater and Barnum Hall Theater. Seating is unreserved, however, subscribers will be let in 15 minutes prior to single holders.
FLEX-PASS SUBSCRIPTIONS
All subscriber tickets are "flex-pass tickets" meaning you have the flexibility of coming to any one performance of each show in your subscription, when it's convenient for you! We don't expect you to know in advance what your availability is for a certain date. We do request that you do not wait until the last minute to choose your date and request your tickets, as some shows do sell out. As soon as you know a date for when you'd like to come to any one of our shows that you have pre-paid, call us to have your tickets printed and mailed. We prefer to have your tickets mailed directly to you, as it saves you time from having to wait in the "will-call" line when arriving at the theater. When you have your tickets in advance, you can proceed directly into the theater, or to the "subscribers with tickets" line if our house is not open yet.
MISSED SHOWS/EXCHANGES
If you cannot attend a show you already have tickets for, as a subscriber you may exchange your tickets once for free by calling our box office. (For any subsequent exchanges, a charge of $2 per ticket will be assessed. To complete any exchange, the box office must be in possession of the original tickets, before new tickets will be issued. If you are in possession of tickets you wish to exchange, simply mail them back to us (SMCLO Box Office, 601 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405) and indicate in a note what new dates you'd like. If it's more than a week prior to your new show date, we will mail the new tickets to you, otherwise they will be held at "will call" for you to pick up. If you miss a show, and there are no more performances left or you cannot attend any of the remaining performances, you may call the box office and have your tickets turned into a donation, so you can get a tax deduction. Such "donated" tickets are valued at $15 for adults, $10 for students.
BRINGING GUESTS/EXTRA TICKETS
We are sorry but we do not have a subscriber guest price for extra tickets. Any additional tickets will cost whatever the regular single-ticket price is for the show you are seeing. You may hold seats for your friends when you go in first, but they may not line up with you, as that compromises the value (as perceived by the other subscribers waiting in line) of purchasing a subscription. If you know you will want to bring guests, we recommend purchasing an extra subscription (or more) to guarantee seating for your friends (not to mention the discount), and then, if the tickets go un-used, request a donation receipt for the value of the un-used tickets. You'll win, either way!
